~Conventions

This film uses many conventions, these include setting 

the scene, the story being set, presents the main charac-

Ters and name credits. 

~Mise En Scene~

C- Everyday casual clothing, doesn’t  make them stand out.

 They look normal because of there clothing.

L-    The lighting for this Is very bright ( high key), 

also in some scenes there may not be any lighting used ( natural lighting)

A-  The actors in this film look very uneducated, this is shown

 in how they dress and there overall way of life

M- Isn’t really that much makeup used in this film partially

 because most of the actors are male 

 P-  The props that are used are the car which presents there 

very outgoing, wild personality. The moon shine in the back 

of the car is important because it outlines the events of the rest of the film

 S- The setting is presented to us by the narrator right at the start of the

 film, we are told that the film is set in sunny old hazard county


~Editing~

When the location is being shown the cuts and transitions 

between frames is very slow and soft just to

give a clue about where they are, by having

slow editing time is given to the narrator to

present the area where its sets, Phrases such

as “basically down here moves a little bit slower 

than everywhere else. Then you get introduced to

the main characters about 45 seconds in, after this

scene the editing changes from going very slow to 

quite fast paced, this helps to show that the main

characters are fast moving dare devil drivers.

~Lighting~

           There is a lot of high key lighting used in this production, 

this is done to make the film be in a happily Presented way,

 there is also a lot of natural lighting used in this production

 because most of the filming is done outside in daytime,

 therefore the set for the film is going to be quite bright. 

~Camera~

There are a lot of camera shots used in the

 production of this film . There is an establishing

shot right at the start of film when the

narrator is setting the location. Once this scene

is over we are instantly hrown into the action where 

we meet the main characters for the first, from

this scene onwards the shots get a lot faster and 

there are a lot more camera shots used, when 

the two characters are in the car we get a mid shot

 and a two shot on both of the characters, this helps

 to show there importance in the film.

~Sound~

There is a lot of diagetic sounds in this film e.g.

 the car engine, bottles rattling in the back of

the car, the radio this helps to tell authenticate 

the film and add reality to it there is also a

lot of non-diagetic sounds used in the film,

 such as the music when he narrator is telling us

about Location and the characters.
